Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday, March 29 claimed that he has intel on every plan by senior government officials to counter the anti-government demonstrations.
Speaking at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation offices in Nairobi while meeting Nubi, the PCEA community, and business leaders from Kibra, Raila alleged that there was a meeting chaired by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua plotting to make Azimio’s Thursday protests chaotic.
“Hakuna mtu anaweza kututisha, leo kulikua na mkutano kwa bwana Gachagua na wale group yake akina Kimani Ichung’wah wakifanya njama tena. Pale popote wanakutana sisi tuko na darubini zetu tunaanaglia tunaona tunaona wanapanga nini.
“Leo hii wanafanya mipango mingi zaidi lakini tunawaangalia. Wakifanya mkutano haichukui dakika tano kujua wamepanga nini,” Raila claimed.

The ODM leader maintained that the Thursday demonstrations would continue as planned and called on his supporters to turn up in large numbers.
Raila also promised to give iron sheets to Kibra business people whose businesses were destroyed during demonstrations on Monday
He was in the company of Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.
