"Ruto, as president who's Head of Government, will have failed in his role as Head of State and remained as Ruto, the UDA candidate."

Former Mukurweini MP Kabando Wa Kabando has foreseen Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance protests escalating in the coming days if President William Ruto fails to take action.

Kabando in a tweet said the continued silence of Ruto on the matter will prompt Kenyans to be part of Raila’s demos.

He warned that Ruto needs to act in a decisive and stately manner to avert the chaotic protests from escalating.

He said the president should act as the head of state and address issues that will prevent further political tension.

"If Ruto doesn't act stately, more people will go #MaandamanoMondays #MaandamanoThursdays
not because Raila is right but because Ruto, as president who's Head of Government, will have failed in his role as Head of State and remained as Ruto, the UDA candidate. Time lapsing fast," he said.

At the same time, Kabando asked Raila to clearly state out his end game plan.

He said many Kenyans are struggling with the high cost of living hence the ongoing protests would not make sense without a clear end plan.

" Hunger, joblessness, despair, frustrations, 'don't care' culture amongst most Kenyans fueled by terrible economy caused by we corrupt political leaders. If Raila doesn't state his #Maandamano endgame and exact actions to end impunity before Monday, he'd stop the damn protests," he stated.

Raila has sustained an onslaught against the Ruto regime through his protests.

He announced that demos will be held weekly on Mondays and Thursdays to push the government to heed to Azimio demands.

Ruto has however remained hellbent and maintained that he cannot be cowed by the protests.
