Charlene has been enjoying a series of colourful pre-wedding celebrations ahead of the highly anticipated wedding.

Charlene kicked off her pre-wedding celebrations with a lavish bridal shower held in Nairobi on Tuesday, November 3.

The private gathering brought together her close friends and family members, including her sister Stephanie Jepchumba, who joined other guests in celebrating the bride-to-be.

The event adopted a white and purple theme, with Charlene dressed in an elegant white outfit and her guests wearing pink attire.

The venue was decorated for the occasion, while specially designed cakes carried messages celebrating her transition from being a fiancée to a wife.

Sharing moments from the celebration, Charlene expressed gratitude to the women who had supported her throughout her life and joined her to mark the special occasion.

She highlighted the importance of friendship, faith and the support of the women around her as she prepared for marriage.

The bridal shower was followed by another special occasion on Wednesday, November 4, when her mother, Rachel, hosted a Mother’s Blessing ceremony in her honour.

The gathering brought together female relatives, aunties and close family friends who assembled to pray for Charlene, offer marriage advice and bless her as she prepared to start married life.

Charlene later took to social media to appreciate her mother and the women who attended the gathering, describing the occasion as more than just a celebration involving gifts.

"A beautiful gathering where my mother, aunties, senges and mother’s friends blessed my future marriage, prayed for me, loved on me, gifted me and guided me on how to invest in my life and family," she wrote.

Charlene also acknowledged the role her mother had played in her life, thanking her for the prayers and encouragement she had received over the years.

"Thank you, Mama, for being my prayer warrior and biggest cheerleader all my life," she added.

Later on Wednesday, Charlene travelled to Mwanza.

The wedding will mark another milestone in the couple's relationship following their traditional Kalenjin engagement ceremony, popularly known as Koito, held on August 8, 2026, at the Ruto family's Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.
