Sleuths have arrested three men suspected to have raped a 12-year-old girl.
The suspects are also accused of raping a housemaid and killing her in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) stated the three were arrested after a CCTV footage emerged showing the suspects entering the house in Membley on October 16, 2020.
Suspects identified
The suspects were positively identified as 36-year-old Levy Abubakara, 43-year-old Zablon Kariuki Maungu and 40-year-old David Abungana.

“Levy was arrested following an incident where he was captured on CCTV footage together with others, entering a house and subsequently raping the house girl and defiling a 12-years-old child,” the DCI said.
“Further, they tied both their legs & hands with sisal strings before murdering the house girl by stuffing her mouth with socks and strangling her using a cloth,” a statement added.
