Former Tahidi High actor Joseph Kinuthia aka Omosh has joined Deputy President William Ruto linked party the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Former Tahidi High actor Joseph Kinuthia aka Omosh has joined Deputy President William Ruto linked party the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

In a tweet by UDA's official Twitter account, Omosh registered as a party member and endorsed the bottom-up economic model being championed by DP Ruto. 

"UDA Secretary-General Veronica Maina receives Comedian Joseph Kinuthia, better known as Omosh at the party's headquarters.

"Omosh registered as a party member and endorsed Hustler Nation's bottom-up economic model saying it will lift ordinary Kenyans out of poverty," part of the statement read.

DP Ruto has been rooting for the bottom-up economic model saying that it will ease over-reliance on foreign loans.

The Ex-Tahidi High actor has been in the public limelight after coming out to plead for financial assistance and a job from Kenyans.

Following the plea, Kenyans and brands turned out in large numbers to help Omosh with cash and endorsements.


Courtesy of Jalang'o, a three-bedroom house in Malaa, Kangundo was constructed and handed to Omosh.

However, Omosh recently received backlash after he came back to the public for more help.
