"Tulisimama imara na tukahubiri amani na siasa imeisha. County commissioner ujipange my friend, lazima uende nyumbani."

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi now says outgoing Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Stephen Kihara must prepare to go home.

Speaking during the swearing ceremony of the Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii on Thursday, Sudi said Kihara will not serve in the Kenya Kwanza government.

In his remarks, Sudi alleged that the county commissioner played a role in fueling divisive politics in the county ahead of the August 9 polls.

"Wewe county commissioner unajua ya kwamba ulitenganisha watu wetu hapa na fitina mingi. Sisi tumekusamehea but you must resign from this government. Hatuwezi kukubali hii maneno," Sudi said while addressing the function at Eldoret sports club.

Sudi went on to allege that the county commissioner wanted to ignite war in the region adding that they stood firm in ensuring peace prevail.

"Tuambiane ukweli ndop nchi ipone. Mulikua mnataka vita Katika taifa la Kenya. Lakini sisi kama Kenya Kwanza tulisimama imara na tukahubiri amani na siasa imeisha. County commissioner ujipange my friend, lazima uende nyumbani."

At the time Sudi was making the remarks, he seemingly did not know that he had been transferred from Uasin Gishu county to Embu.

In a dated August 23 to all Regional Commissioners, Nakuru county commissioner Erastus Mbui will head to Kitui as trans-Nzoia’s Samson Ojwang relocates to Busia.

“The officers should be released to report to their new stations immediately,” read the notice from the Ministry of Interior and coordination of the national government.

Bomet’s Beverly Opwora who is just a few months old in the county has been affected and will head to Makueni and be replaced by Ahmed Omar Ahmed from Busia.

Mathias Rioba who is currently stationed in Kitui is set to assume his roles in Trans-Nzoia as Eddyson Nyale moves to Uasin Gishu.

Gilbert Kitiyo becomes the new Nakuru county commissioner.
