Leading digital journalist Oliver Mathenge has quit Radio Africa Africa group after nine years. 

Mr. Mathenge has been serving as Radio Africa's Group Digital Editor. 

A source privy to the matter disclosed to Nairobileo.co.ke that the renowned journalist accepted an offer from Nation Media Group. 

“It’s a digital role in the broadcast division at NMG,” the source told this journalist. 

According to the source, Mr. Mathenge will assume his new role at Nation Media group in December.

Mathenge served different roles at Radio Africa group during his stint before being promoted to the group digital editor. 

He played crucial roles in building the digital departments at Radio Africa as well as the Monetization of the platforms. 

Mr. Mathenge is also credited with leading the digital transition from the old website to the new Cosmos CMS platform, which encompasses new digital elements aimed at improving the online reader experience.
