  • On social media, Kenyans have been using #UhuruAt60 to send the Head of State messages of goodwill as he celebrates his last birthday as President of the Republic of Kenya.

Deputy President William Ruto has joined Kenyans in sending President Uhuru Kenyatta messages of goodwill as he celebrates his 60th birthday.

In a tweet on Tuesday, DP Ruto wished President Kenyatta all the best and prayed for God’s guidance as he leads the country.

“Please join me in wishing our leader, the President, His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, a Happy Birthday, and to pray for his success as he guides the nation towards a greater promise. God bless you, sir; to many, many more!” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, other leaders and Kenyans at large have been using #UhuruAt60 to send the Head of State messages of goodwill as he celebrates his last birthday as President of the Republic of Kenya.
