Elect Ruto at Your Own Risk - Uhuru Warns Mt Kenya Region

President Uhuru Kenyatta has yet again warned the Mt Kenya region against voting for his deputy William Ruto.

In an attack while on a campaign trail in the Mt Kenya region, Uhuru said the region stands to lose if they fail to vote wisely.

The President said a majority of the leaders claiming to possess solutions to change the lives of Kenyans are hypocrites since they have been in government and failed to deliver.

He warned the Mt Kenya region that they will regret it in the event they fail to heed his advice.

“You people from Mt Kenya region, if you elect Ruto, you will cry one day because the man is very evil,” Uhuru said in yet another bare-knuckle attack on Ruto.

Uhuru, who has endorsed Raila Odinga for the top seat, said the Azimio Coalition has the best solution for Kenyans.

The President has in recent days been drumming up support for Odinga's presidential bid while commissioning projects and issuing title deeds.  

The President spoke when he issued more than 14,000 title deeds to the residents at Kamangu Primary School grounds in Kikuyu.

Uhuru termed the DP and his Kenya Kwanza brigade as evil people following remarks by some leaders that he was planning to kill them.

“I hear some saying I want to kill them. Tell them I don't have any business doing that. All those years they have been abusing me while on top of cars, have you heard me respond to them? Now that I am heading to Icaweri is the time I will think of killing them?,” he asked.
