On November 4, 2021, Jubilee announced that it would make significant changes by restructuring the party and its leadership.

The ruling party has been hit hard following the exit of its members to Deputy President William Ruto's linked United Democratic Alliance(UDA) party.

The latest to defect the camp was Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru, who stated that she had held meetings with locals to understand the future political move.
