A nasty accident involving a train, a lorry, and Nissan Tiida has been reported at Donhlm in Embakasi.
Reports indicate that one person died on the spot in the Tuesday morning accident. The driver of the lorry is reported to have died on the spot.
The accident happened during the morning hours when the train rammed into the lorry. Good Samaritans rushed to the scene and helped survivors.
The exact number of casualties remains unknown with reports indicating that at least two people have been rushed to the hospital.
Investigations have been launched to establish the cause of the accident which happened at Donholm near the Kenya National Cereals Board.
