William Kabogo: I think the president should issue a travel advisory to Kenyans to be cautious traveling to the US due to the looming post-election violence.

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has advised President Uhuru Kenyatta to issue a travel advisory to Kenyans against travelling to the United States owing to the looming post-election violence.

Americans have today taken to the polls to elect their next president, with reports indicating that there could be violence depending on who wins the polls.

Reacting to the reports, Kabogo noted that President Kenyatta should consider issuing a travel advisory for the safety of Kenyans planning to travel to America.

“I think the president should issue a travel advisory to Kenyans to be cautious traveling to the US due to the looming post-election violence. How come they export good governance but are unable to practice it? Maajabu,” he tweeted.

The American election is pitting President Donald Trump against former Vice President Joe Biden.

According to analysts, Joe Biden is highly likely to win the popular vote, while a close contest is expected on the electoral college votes.

For one to win the American Presidency, he/she must secure at least 270 electoral college votes.

Meanwhile, America has been undergoing a revolution with members of the Black community protesting against police brutality and racism.
