Kenyan-born Lawyer Miguna Miguna has weighed in on the saga pitting a woman who never received her admission letter to the university despite acing in her KCSE exams.
Milly Nafula, who sat for her KCSE exams in 2007 and score a grade of A-(minus), failed to earn admission at the university over what she said was a lack of a calling letter.
She narrated to the media how her attempts to seek an admission letter with the now-defunct Joint Admissions Board (JAB) were futile.
Miguna in a show of rage blasted Kenya Universities and College Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) for handling the matter casually yet the victim has been wasted by the institution.
According to the lawyer, Nafula first deserves an apology after which she should be granted a full scholarship to pursue her dream course.

"An official apology on KUCCPS' letterhead, admission to the Faculty of Medicine, and a full 5-year scholarship for Milly Nafula would do. But not this PR from Agness Wahome. An A-student admitted to Tourism in 2007? Please!" Miguna wrote on Facebook.
It is after the media reported her unfortunate story that KUCCPS, which replaced JAB, gave a statement on the matter.
KUCCPS revealed that Nafula had been called to Moi University to pursue a course in Bachelor of Tourism Management.
KUCCPS CEO Agnes Mercy Wahome said they have communicated to Moi University asking them to take up the matter even as they denied reports of Nafula being denied a placement.
"In her circumstances, KUCCPS wishes to carry that JAB indeed placed Ms Nafula to pursue university education under the regular government programme contrary to the media reports that she was never selected," Wahome said.
Even as Kenyans call for preferential treatment to Nafula, now a mother of two, she remains determined to pursue her dream career in medicine, albeit 14 years after.
