Viral chips vendor Bevalyne Kwamboka on Friday, December, 17, graduated from Kenyatta University (KU) with a Bachelor's degree in education

The 23-year-old graduate turned to selling chips by the roadside to support herself financially. 

Kwamboka expressed her gratitude for the support she had received from Kenyans in supporting her business.

"Thank you so much for your support. Your Chipo mwitu vendor made it," elated Kwamboka expressed.

Netizens congratulated Kwamboka for her sheer hardwork and determination to clear her education.

Kwamboka disclosed that she started the business during the pandemic period when her sister with a toddler and breadwinner lacked another source of income.

I started this business in 2020 amid the pandemic. It was not a good time since people were in lockdown but I had to,” she said. 

This prompted her to start the business with her sister using Ksh1,000 and an additional loan of Ksh200.
