KTN News anchor Lindah Oguttu has announced that she has taken a sabbatical leave from the Standard Group owned station.

In her announcement on Sunday, Ms Oguttu said during her sabbatical she will serve in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Secretariat.

This follows her appointment to the FKF secretariat by Sports Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohamed where she will head the secretariat.

"Personal News????.... I have taken a sabbatical leave from the Standard Group Limited to serve in the FKF Secretariat. Tukutane kwa futa. And mask up and get vaccinated... Hii Covid haitaki mchezo," Oguttu announced.

The news anchor was appointed to the role by the CS to temporarily replace the disbanded FKF officials led by President Nick Mwendwa and Chief Executive Barry Otieno.

She is deputized by Michael Mucheni (secretary), Lorine Nerea Shitubi (Joint Secretary), Caesar Handa, Herbet Mwachiro, Edward Rombo, Hiba Hussein, and Gabriel Warigi.

CS Amina also appointed a 15 member FKF Caretaker Committee.
