Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika on Saturday wedded her boyfriend and businessman Sam Mburu in a colourful traditional wedding.

The ceremony, which is currently ongoing at the Kihika family ranch in Engashura, was graced by Deputy President William Ruto.

DP Ruto witnessed dowry negotiations that took place before the final wedding ceremony.

Dr. Ruto's personal assistant Faruk Kibet, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, and Nyeri Woman Rep Rahab Mukami were among the leaders who attended the couple's nuptials.

Kihika and Mburu have had a much-publicized relationship over the past eight years when they met on the campaign trail.
