Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has cautioned Deputy President to stop insulting leaders from other regions.

In a video seen by Nairobi Leo, Ngilu said that they will not allow DP Ruto to go to Ukambani and insult their leader and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka as he pleases.

She noted that DP Ruto did the same in Meru where he insulted Governor Kiraitu Murungi.

“I want to ask William Ruto to desist from insulting leaders and the regions those leaders come from. We will not allow him to come to Ukambani and insult our leader HE @skmusyoka like he did in meru with HE. @governorkiraitu while we watch. It just won’t happen again,” said Ngilu.

The governor went on to say that the Deputy President is a very dishonest man who cannot be compared Kalonzo Musyoka who is very honest.

Ngilu told off DP Ruto saying that he should also respect Kalonzo who is older than him and a leader of good standing.

“Before he says anything about Kalonzo he should look at himself. Even the age difference between him and Kalonzo should tell him that he should desist from insulting somebody like our leader whom we know,” She said.

“The difference between Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and William Ruto is that one is very honest. Kalonzo is very honest, a very reliable person, trustworthy, who has worked very hard to bring peace in this country and when you compare him with Ruto, it’s like day and night.”
