Baringo police are probing an incident where two naked bodies of unidentified persons were on Sunday night discovered along the Kabarnet-Iten road.

The bodies seemed to have been killed long before they were dumped at the scene, reports indicate.

The discovery of the bodies raises more eyebrows on the state of security in the country considering that Kenyans are still reeling in shock following the discovery of several bodies in River Yala.

Many bodies of Kenyans believed to have been killed have recently been discovered at River Yala in Siaya County.

Reports indicate that a total of 23 bodies have been retrieved from the river bearing hallmarks of torture and signalling the possibility of being murdered elsewhere before being dumped in the river.

Some of the bodies have been identified while others are yet to.

Police have urged Kenyans with lost kins to visit the Yala sub-county hospital morgue to see whether they can discover them among the bodies.
