The principals resolved to equally own the coalition as it was previously registered under Kalonzo's name at the Registrar of Political Parties.

One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals on Wednesday, February 2 announced that they had signed an agreement that allows their respective parties to own the coalition.

OKA brings together NARC-Kenya's Martha Karua, UDP's Cyrus Jirongo, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, and KANU's Gideon Moi.

The principals resolved to equally own the coalition as it was previously registered under Kalonzo's name at the Registrar of Political Parties.

"We have gathered here as One Kenya Alliance... To formally incorporate all the constituent political parties into the One Kenya Alliance, we are glad to inform Kenyans that this morning, OKA principals have signed a Deed of Assignment

"This is an affirmation of our commitment to standing firm, together and focused on securing the lives of Kenyans," OKA principals said in a statement.

The principals also noted that the coalition will be formally unveiled at a later date before starting campaigns countrywide.

"We will officially and publicly unveil the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) and demonstrate how our vision will fundamentally transform Kenya

"As a build-up towards the official unveiling, we have lined up a series of public engagements and activities to be hosted by our constituent political parties and partners in various parts of the country," the statement read in part.

This comes a day after OKA principals hinted at a possible alliance with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August 9 General Elections.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr ruled out any possibility of Wiper working with Deputy President William Ruto following the famous Bomas walk-out.

“Their walking out on Musalia just tells you they didn’t agree on joining Ruto. That is clear that in the question of supporting DP, they are easily taking a position,” he said.

KANU secretary general Nick Salat shared the same sentiments stating that they might join Azimio.
