Raila Odinga has left the country for a week-long trip to Ethiopia and India. 

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga has left the country for a week-long trip to Ethiopia and India. 

According to a statement issued by his spokesperson Denis Onyango, Odinga's first stop will be Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the African Union meeting.

"In his capacity as the African Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development in Africa, Mr. Odinga will hold Infrastructure related events and meetings on the sidelines of the Summit," Onyango said in the statement.

The former Prime Minister will then head to India and is expected in the country next week. 

Odinga shared photos via his Twitter handle with former Ethiopian PM Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe. 

"Great catching up with Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe, former Ethiopian PM, and Meles Alem, their Ambassador to Kenya, before taking off for Addis Ababa to attend an AU meeting," he stated.
