A communication by the party's Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna indicates that the party will hold its NDC at Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.

The ODM party will hold its National Delegates Conference on February 25 and 26 this month, the same date that the ruling Jubilee will hold its.

"Please Take notice, pursuant to article 7.2 as reading together with article 7.5.3 of the Orange Democratic movement constitution, that the National delegates convention shall be held on the 25th and 26th February 2022 at the National Stadium from 9:00 Am," the Notice by Sifuna reads.

Party officials scheduled to attend the meeting include all members of the National Executive committee, all chairpersons of the Branch executive committees, all members of the party's parliamentary group, all members of the council of governors and deputy governors, all members of the regional coordinating committee, Majority or minority leaders in each county assembly among many other groups of party officials.

The agenda of the meeting, among others, includes consideration and confirmation of the minutes of the NDC held on 17th March 2017 at Kasarani Indoor Gymnasium, Consideration and ratification of the NGC decisions.

The meeting is expected to culminate into a joint session with their Jubilee counterparts where the ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected to endorse for the presidency.

Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe said last week that their joint meeting will be after fronting Raila as their candidate.

On Friday, the ruling Jubilee cleared the path for Raila after agreeing on not fielding a presidential candidate.
