The lawyer says the group is deliberating how they will distribute powers among themselves

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has alleged that a senior group of Kenyan leaders is meeting in a foreign country to deliberate on how to share power.

The lawyer says the group is deliberating how they will distribute powers among themselves.

According to him, the deliberations are in line with the Supreme Court ruling that he claims upheld the BBI appeal.

The Supreme Court is however yet to make its judgement but the lawyer has already concluded that it will favour the Handshake team.

"I hear a major meeting is happening in a foreign country where the players sitting on the table have one agenda: How to share the expanded executive in line with the judgement of the Supreme Court on the BBI case," he tweeted.

When former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo questioned him on whether he was certain on the Supreme Court ruling, Ahmednasir said:

"Check the tweet I posted immediately the High Court delivered the bbi judgment. I said the chance of the Court of Appeal overturning it was less than 5%. 75% chance the Supreme Court will overturn in 5:2 majority decision."

Ahmednasir is on records saying he is certain that the Supreme Court will uphold the appeal by the Handshake team.

He said the Highest Court in Kenya will dismiss the decision by the Court of Appeal that upheld the High Court judgement declaring BBI unconstitutional null and void.

"I predict, the Supreme Court will in the bbi case deliver a favourable judgment to my beloved Jubilee.

"The Court will toss out the basic structure doctrine and give Parliament greenlight to urgently amend the constitution and create the offices of prime minister, two deputy prime ministers etc...Azimio's needs must be met," he tweeted on February 8.

The BBI appeal hearing at the Supreme Court of Kenya was done in January between dates 18 and 21.

The Supreme Court will deliver its judgement on notice.
