Kenya’s High Commissioner to Nigeria Wilfred Machage is dead.
According to the family, the former Migori Senator passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at a Nigerian hospital.
"Our dad died in Nigeria while undergoing treatment. We will give details on the cause of his death in subsequent briefings," one of his sons Mr. Steve Machage told the Nation.
The deceased was first elected as a Member of Parliament to represent the Kuria Constituency in 2002.
He also served as Migori County's first Senator between 2013 and 2017.
