Man Killed After Being Found in Steamy Encounter by Woman's Husband

A casual labourer was allegedly hit to death after he was found having a steamy session with a married woman.

The 40-year-old Nashon Mudavi was who ekes out a living in the affluent neighbourhood of Runda was hit after a man found him with his wife on the bed.

A 48-year-old Samuel Musungu, a resident of Githogoro, is said to have arrived home unannounced to the shock of his life.

Musungu, who is also a casual labourer in Runda, is said to have killed the victim on the spot after hitting him on the head.

"In a fit of rage, Musungu reached for a piece of rock and hit the 40-year-old man at the back of his head, killing him on the spot," a DCI statement reads.

The commotion brought the settlement to a standstill as neighbours rushed to the scene to see what had unfolded.

“It’s something out of a horror movie,” stunned Nyumba Kumi Chairman Richard Wamalwa told DCI. “It’s horrible. It’s a nightmare.”

DCI officers based at Gigiri arrived at the scene and successfully pursued the suspect who is currently in detention.

The suspect is being processed to answer to charges of murder contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
