Eric Omondi said he had plans to fight for Miguna Miguna's return in Kenya.

Comedian Eric Omondi has fired back at Lawyer Miguna Miguna who penned a disparaging statement against him and the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Miguna had attacked Raila saying his visit to the UK after Deputy President William Ruto's tour of the UK is akin to Omondi facing veteran boxer Muhammad Ali for a fight.

"Sending Raila Odinga off to London to speak at 2 international fora days AFTER William Samoei Ruto has just spoken there is like sending Eric Omondi to a boxing ring with Muhammad Ali without a referee. Omondi's mangled jaws and Raila's deformed pride will be a lesson for the future," Miguna stated on Monday.

Omondi, in a reaction, took to his Instagram page to express his disappointment in Miguna's remarks.

He said he had intentions of fighting for Miguna's return and appeared to suggest that his remarks on him and Raila has made him change his mind.

"Na vile nilikua nataka kusaidia huyu mubaba arudi nyumbani, nkt!" he said

Loosely translates to: " And the way I wanted to fight for his return to Kenya, Nkt!"

Miguna reactions came after it was confirmed that Raila will be visiting the UK next week where he will also address Chatham House.

Ruto addressed Chatham House on Monday where he attacked the Handshake between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Miguna's remarks appeared to suggest that Raila could not beat Ruto in public discourse.

Miguna has been out of the country since 2018 after he was forced out of the country.

Several court orders ruling in his favour have not been implemented with his Kenyan passport remaining in state custody.

Miguna alleged that the state destroyed the document.
