Shock as Bomet Woman Body is Discovered Without Ears, Eyes

It was a bad morning for residents of Cheplanget village in Bureti, Bomet County after they discovered a body of a woman in horrific shape.

Residents who discovered the body said it had no eyes and ears at the time it was discovered.

The body also had several wounds

Residents alleged that the woman could have been killed by an unknown animal.  

As of 10 am, the remains of the unidentified woman were still at the scene.

Police however arrived shortly past 11 am and took the body to the morgue.

The incident has left residents in shock and fear as they could not understand what could have caused the macabre death.

A large crowd of people assembled at the scene of the tragedy to witness what was going on.

Residents who spoke to the media said they need government protection in ensuring their safety.

Some said they suspect the woman was mauled by Hyenas.
