William Kabogo Statement After Joining Kenya Kwanza Coalition

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance on Sunday, March 13, 2022. 

The Kenya Kwanza Alliance is led by Deputy President William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula. 

Addressing the rally, Kabogo, who is eyeing the Kiambu Governor's seat, announced that he would be campaigning for DP Ruto and work in tandem with the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. 

"There comes a time, when the will of the people prevails. As a true son of the mountain, I have taken time to listen to the people of the mountain, and the great people of Kiambu who I love so much and the decision is now made.

As a selfless leader whose sole intention is to ensure that the people who look up to me are well represented and that their aspirations are well catered for, I have made the decision to join other like-minded leaders in the Kenya Kwanza coalition," he stated.

The former Governor added, "Henceforth, I will work hand in hand with the leaders in Kenya kwanza to not only deliver the presidency to our candidate William Samoei Ruto but also take over as Governor of Kiambu and continue the good work that was abruptly stopped in 2017.
