Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula has responded to leaders asking him to ditch Deputy President William Ruto and support ODM leader Raila Odinga for the presidency.

In a response on Twitter, the Ford Kenya leader said those asking him to team up with Odinga were the loudest to say his leaving had no effect when he ditched the former PM.

The senator said it is time they feel the weight his switching camps come with, insisting that a William Ruto presidency is unstoppable.

"The desperados who are asking Weta to join them are the same ones who were shouting themselves hoarse that I was of no consequence. They will feel the consequence. The awamu ya tano government of Kenya kwanza is unstoppable @WilliamsRuto @MusaliaMudavadi," said Wetangula.

His statement comes just a day after reports said he had met ODM leader Raila Odinga, claims he denied.

Wetang'ula went on to say that the picture purporting the same had been taken in January 2018.

He said he was busy receiving and advising aspirants for various elective seats in the country.

"Have had a busy moment at Ford Kenya party HQS receiving, advising and encouraging our candidates in preparation for party primaries. Kenya kwanza is the valid dream and hope for Kenya," Wetang'ula said in a post.
