  • Kuria's remarks did not settle well with those supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid.

Kenyans have expressed mixed reactions following Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria's remarks on Raila Odinga led Azimio la Umoja crowds.

According to the MP who supports Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid, the crowds are unconvinced.

He went on to say that the crowds look unsure because they have been lied to four times before and are now fatigued.

Moses Kuria insisted that they will still vote for Raila Odinga but they know that he will not win the August 9 elections.

"There is something I have realised about the crowds in Azimio rallies. They are unenthusiastic. They are unconvinced. They are sceptical. 4 times they have been told Giniwasekao and they are now fatigued. Yes they will vote for Baba but they know he will not win," he wrote on Twitter.

Netizens who saw the tweet reacted with some seemingly disagreeing with his sentiments while others seemed to agree.

Here are their reactions;

@AokoOtieno_ I remember in 2017, he told us to vote and leave the rest to him. Ati he has servers in the clouds. Next thing we saw, his renowned white handkerchief was doing the usual, wiping tears. Kidogo, negotiations on handcheque, kidogo BBI, kidogo, tunazimia. Awuoro

@ItsAndyO I think the lack of enthusiasm is more along the lines of if he wins, he is not the Baba they wanted, he's Uhuru's version of Baba

@champgitau Please tell us more about the enthusiasm that was in your home welcoming party in Kiambu. Mambo ya Baba tuachie. We support him koz we believe in his ideologies and principles. Unlike you who support Ruto due to tribal hatred and political survival.

@LeboiAbdallah You all know that you stole his votes so that he can loose right?? So bringing the shenanigans about election lose or won is a non issue. Kwanza jiulize. Kiambu utapata kitu??

@jakayajirjir In all of kuzimia rallies I have never heard of an important agenda.. they spend better part of their rally talking of Ruto the doyen... Jubilee inazimia kama haina nafasi ya vijana nafasi zote ni za wazeee... Kuzimia have a BLIND future

@PapiiKennyy7 There is something I have realized about the Kenya Kwanza politicians. They are unenthusiastic. They are unconvinced. The are skeptical. 10 times a day they comment about Azimio matters they are now helpless. Yes they will vote Ruto but they know he will not win

@viktaochi Mimi nimekwama hapo kwa "Take up arms!!" Why take up arms when you are winning? Your handle names have been very informative in this race. You moved from too close to call and now you are advocating for taking up arms since unajua hii kitu ishaenda

@mosses254 What would you expect,you are a youth in the crowd but all you see addressing you are a bunch of old men(no disrespect).they are telling us of how liberation was achieved,saa hyo hauna hata ya unga?...

@Madoka_Ke Post your thief

@OmoloBenard Why are you even concerned with Azimio issues,,,get busy and direct your energy to where necessary.
