The Holy Month of Ramadan has officially started across the country

Even as the political temperatures in the country continue to heat up, vocal city lawyer Ahmednasir has revealed that he will be taking a sabbatical leave from Twitter for some time.

According to the former Uhuru Kenyatta's lawyer, Friday night marked his last tweet on social media, adding that he will be concentrating on the Holy Month of Ramathan which is officially commencing today.

The Ruto allied lawyer has been so vocal on his Twitter account deconstructing Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta's Azimio la Umoja camp since he parted ways with his boss Uhuru after the March 2018 handshake.

"As is my tradition I will take leave/sabbatical from Twitter during the holy month of Ramadan. I will sign off midnight Nairobi time. See you on Eid day...InshaAllah" posted Ahmednasir.

Already, President Uhuru Kenyatta has conveyed his goodwill message to all Muslim faithful across the country as they begin the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In his message to Muslims, Uhuru urged the faithful to "remember Kenya in prayers even as we edge closer to our general elections. That peace and unity will prevail upon our beloved country"

Ahmednasir's critics of the state and recently the Judiciary over an alleged predetermined BBI ruling by the Supreme Court judges, landed the lawyer in hot soup, with Chief Justice Martha Koome.

This was after the CJ came out to blast him together with Law Society President Nelson Havi over 'Unethical, Unprofessional' Twitter Posts On BBI Case.

Koome castigated Havi, Ahmednassir and Esther Ang’awa for commenting about the BBI case on social media while the court was still in session, saying this was meant to intimidate and scandalize the court’s judgment on the matter.
