The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party carried out its nominations on Thursday, April 14 in 36 counties.
The primaries were marred with cases of violence, delayed results but proceeded smoothly in some of the areas.
Deputy President William Ruto announced that UDA would repeat the primaries in close to 200 stations where they had some logistical challenges.

In Kericho County, Former Devolution CS Charles Keter is losing the gubernatorial race to Dr. Erick Mutai.
Dr. Mutai has a commanding lead of over 170,49 votes while Keter has 12,136 votes.
In Uasin Gishu County, the race to succeed Governor Jackson Mandagor is neck to neck between politician Jonathan Bii and former ambassador Julius Bitok.
In the Senate race, Mandagor is maintaining a narrow lead over his competitor.
However, in the parliamentary seats, Oscar Sudi has won and will now defend his seat on a UDA ticket.
Sudi got 14,531 votes edging his closest competitor Pauline Tuwei who bagged 4144 votes. Tuwei Jonathan Mutai bagged 2066 votes.
In Bomet County, Bomet governor Hillary Barchok has a commanding lead of over 70,823 from 218 polling stations against his competitor, the former CAS John Mosonik who had scored 33,892 votes by the time of going to press.
In Elgeyo Marakwet County, 15 out of 20 MCAs have lost their bid to defend seats on UDA tickets in the upcoming August 9 General Election.
In Keiyo North MP James Murgor has lost his bid to defend his seat on a UDA ticket with Adams Kipsanai, who is an aide of Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, trouncing him in the polls.
Kipsanai garnered 6,523 while Dr Murgor got 6,383 in the hotly contested race.
