Reports of Kihika being slapped by Farouk emerged last week.

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has dismissed claims that she was slapped by Deputy President William Ruto's personal assistant Farouk Kibet.

Kihika said she has no personal issue with Farouk.

The Senator said reports being propagated on the alleged slapping are mere propaganda being fueled by her rivals.

Kihika said those pushing the narrative want to cause division between her and the DP's PA.

She maintained that she is in good books with Keter adding that the DP's PA is like a family friend owing to their close ties.

"That's propaganda by my opponents who want to drive a wedge between us. We have no issues at all, Farouk was even the best man during my wedding, so he is a family friend. The issue that he slapped me last week is laughable," Kihika said as quoted by TV47.

Reports of Kihika being slapped by Farouk emerged last week.

The claims went viral on social media with some indicating that she had been kicked out of the DP's official Karen residence.

Kenyans can now treat the reports as fake.
