The two fired at each other on Twitter over the 2022 succession politics.

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Narok Senator Ledam Ole Kina have played out their differences in the open as the 2022 race hots up.

The two engaged in public spats on Monday morning after they disagreed on a number of issues regarding the August polls.

It began when Lawyer Ahmednasir tweeted remarks that seemingly explained why President Uhuru Kenyatta is yet to visit the Mt Kenya region to campaign for Raila.

While reacting to a local media report, Ahmednasir tweeted: "Like the rest of Kenyans, Mt Kenya wants to hear about promises of a bright future, not about a footling handshake...H.E UHURU personifies the past, not the future...Uhuru is too smart to go to Mt Kenya & tell them why the prices of milk, tea, coffee haven't gone up in the past decade".

In a rejoinder, Ledama took a swipe at Ahmednasir questioning him why he has not started campaigning for Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid.

"Why haven’t I seen you going to Wajir to campaign for your mate? Oh, I forgot you can’t because you only campaign for the president of Somalia," Ledama replied.

The remarks seemingly irked Ahmednasir who fired back blasting him for misinterpreting his remarks.

He went on to chide him on the state of his political future seemingly suggesting that he might go home in the August 9, polls.

"Senator my tweet wasn't about Wajir or Somalia...I know you went to school and can read and write...but I do appreciate the insufferable pressure facing your kuwa ground at Narok...the good thing is you have a passion for farming...," Ahmednasir hit back at the senator.

But the apparent fierce exchange did not rest there.

A separate post by Ledama saw Ahmednasir weigh-in in the comment section.

In his post, Ledama apparently took a swipe at a section of the second term governors eyeing elective seats in the August 9, polls.

"Two-term Governors who were once powerful men in the government, giving ultimatums are largely a spent force they no longer have any influence …if anything their past will torment them forever ….Good Riddance…."

The sentiments attracted the attention of  Ahmednasir who said: "Good observation. I will test this hypothesis by how bad Gov Ole Tunai will beat you in the coming elections. Diaries 10.8.2022 for discussions on this germane topic".

In response, Ledama appeared fed up with the comments and went on to say: "Nigger please", perhaps to say he is tired of the pressure piled on him by the Lawyer.
