Kalonzo Musyoka left Kenya for South Sudan on Tuesday, May 10.

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has sent social media into a frenzy after he met with South Sudan's Vice President Rebecca Garang.

Taking it to Twitter on Wednesday, May 11, Kalonzo shared photos of his meeting with Rebecca in South Sudan’s capital, Juba.

The former Vice President said that his meeting with the South Sudan second in command was part of engagements in ongoing peace talks.

“As part of our engagements on the on-going Peace Process, I met with and held productive talks with the Fourth Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan, H.E. Rebecca Garang in Juba earlier today,” Kalonzo tweeted.

However, his tweet was met with mixed reactions from netizens who seized the opportunity to direct their views at him over his recent moves in the political arena.

According to a section of netizens, they wondered how Kalonzo was entrusted with such sensitive diplomatic issues.

However, a section of netizens said that he is a peace-loving man and should negotiate to be the CS Ministry of Foreign Affairs in case he misses out on being Raila Odinga’s deputy.
