Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has responded to Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga after the major rally at Kamukunji on Sunday.

During the mega rally on Sunday, Odinga endorsed Polycarp Igathe and his deputy Prof Philip Kaloki for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.

The former Prime Minister also endorsed Edwin Sifuna for the Senate seat and Esther Passaris for the women rep position.

While describing Igathe, Odinga said," a special financial expert katika Taifa letu ka Kenya. Alikua ameekwa hapa na Mw**** wa*** , yeye akawacha huyo. A clean man."

Reacting to the video that has been widely shared on social media, Sonko was cryptic in his message to Odinga.

"In the African traditional culture you are not allowed to respond to your father. But sometimes the favoured children are the ones who end up dissapointing their parents more," Sonko tweeted.

Sonko is eyeing the Mombasa gubernatorial seat.
