Sudi said the former UNCTAD boss has nothing to show off despite his longest service to the public.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has hit back at the former Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi after shaming him together with ANC Party boss Musalia Mudavadi recently.

This was after Mukhisa, who was speaking during Azimio la Umoja rally in Vihiga county, chided the Ruto allied MP claiming that Musalia's entry into the Kenya Kwanza camp had not helped Sudi in any way.

According to Mukhisa, Musalia, as a learned and intelligent man, could have helped Sudi understand the root causes of the recent challenges and economic hardships the country is passing through.

"I thought that when Musalia went into Ruto's camp, people like Oscar Sudi will make good use of his intelligence and get enlightened. Sudi has been ignorantly blaming the recent rise in oil prices on President Uhuru Kenyatta instead of the Russia-Ukraine wars. I thought Musalia will educate Sudi on this matter to avoid exposing his ignorance but I was wrong," claimed Mukhisa.

Mukhisa also threw jabs at Musalia, claiming he had been influenced by the Kapseret MP and has started articulating issues in Sudi's way instead of the vice-versa.

However, through a video posted on his Facebook page, Sudi hit back at Mukhisa, saying the former UNCTAD boss has nothing to show off despite his longest service to the public.

The UDA party nominee in Kapseret said his legacy cannot be matched with that of Mukhisa Kituyi adding that he has visible track records to defend as compared to his critic.

"Mukhisa cannot even compare himself with Sudi, leave alone Musalia who is miles ahead of us. You were an MP for 10 years, I don't know if you can be in a position to show Western people any legacy you left behind as a former Kimilili MP. You were also a Minister for those ten years in parliament before being appointed the Secretary-General UN in Geneva. Do you have anything to boast of?" posed Sudi.

He reminded Mukhisa that Ruto, Musalia, and Wetangula's government will sort out issues affecting Kenyans like the revival of Mumias factory, something Sudi claimed the former SG doesn't understand.

He claimed Mukhisa is looking for a post in Raila's government for his own interests but will do nothing to better the lives of Kenyans.

"You can belittle me but you cannot match my development legacy. Kindly come over to Kapseret I show you what I have done for only 10 years minus the post of a CS and then you will tell us what you have done for those 30 years you have been in power," added Sudi.

This came after Mukhisa who had earlier expressed interest in running for the presidency through his Party of Growth and Prosperity dropped his bid and supported Raila Odinga.
