The four suspected criminals were parading crude weapons on social media.

Police on Saturday, June 4, arrested four suspected criminals at Mauche Ward, Nakuru County and recovered an assortment of crude weapons.

The four were arrested after the police got hands on a photo of the suspects, who were welding crude weapons. The photo had been shared on social media.

The police said that they recovered a cache of 25 arrows from the suspects who are now being processed as they await arraignment. The arrows were kept as exhibit.

“The arrests followed police investigations after a photo of the suspects wielding crude weapons was shared on a popular social media platform on 25th May 2022. They proudly paraded their crude weapons, without regard to security concerns in their neighbourhoods,” the police stated.
