Nairobi SenatorJohnson Sakaja has been cleared to vie for the City Governor seat.
The Senator was cleared together with his running mate James Muchiri on Tuesday.
The clearance came in the wake of reports that the Senator did not graduate from the University of Nairobi as he earlier said.
A jubilant Sakaja took to the streets of Nairobi to express his joy for the clearance.
He was flanked by a host of Jubilee leaders and his supporters.
Sakaja is the UDA candidate for Nairobi City County.
His fiercest rival Polycarp Igathe and his running mate Philip Kaloki were cleared on Sunday.
The Governor race is emerging as a two gorse race duel pitting the two.
