Uganda President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's son Muhoozi Kainerugaba delivered a special message to President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday.
In an update by State House, Kenyatta held talks with Muhoozi regarding the restoration of peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta today held talks with Uganda's Special Envoy Lt. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba who paid him a courtesy call at State House, Nairobi.
"During the meeting, President Kenyatta and Mr. Kainerugaba discussed several bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to Kenya and Uganda. Among the issues discussed included the restoration of peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo," part of the statement read.
On his part, Muhoozi said that he delivered a special message on behalf of President Museveni.
"It was an honour and pleasure to meet my big brother and friend President Uhuru Kenyatta in Nairobi recently. I also delivered to him a special message from H.E. Museveni," he said.
Kenyatta and Muhoozi have enjoyed a good relationship, the latter has made frequent visits to Kenya on different occasions where they hung out with the President.
