Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has revealed two UDA leaders he believes are hatching a plot to sideline those from fringe parties in the Mt Kenya region.

In an interview with Citizen TV on Sunday, Kuria also divulged that the UDA party has resolved to lock them out of the Kenya Kwanza.

While reacting to the Kiambu incident where a standoff ensued between him, Kabogo on one hand against the UDA-affiliated leaders, Kuria said the two leaders have been having secret meetings to elbow them out.

According to Kuria, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa and his Kandara counterpart Alice Wahome have been having secret meetings with UDA leaders and aspirants warning them not to associate with those from other parties in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

"When it comes to planning meetings in Mt. Kenya, they are held exclusively by UDA and we are locked out, for me, it is sad and strange," Kuria said.

"When it comes to the campaign team called Hustler Express which is my brainchild when they come to Kiambu, we are locked out."

He said the UDA is keen on making the Mt Kenya region their political bastion to their disadvantage.
