The Azimio presidential running mate was speaking at a rally in Nyeri County.

Azimio presidential running mate Martha Karua has said that the Azimio bandwagon will not be afraid to tour the Mt. Kenya region in a hunt for votes ahead of the August polls.

Speaking at an Azimio rally in Nyeri County, Karua said that Mt. Kenya was her home and she would not fear traversing the region together with the Azimio presidential candidate, Raila Odinga.

The Narc Kenya party leader said that there was an alleged plan for heckling at the rally but said Azimio wil not be cowed.

“Leo tumeleta baba. Wale walikuwa wamepangla tukija pande hizi, kelele kidogo ndo tuogope. Sisi sio watu wakuogopa na hapa ni nyumbani,” Karua told a charged crowd.

Karua drummed support for the Raila-Karua ticket in the August polls maintaining that they had good plans for Kenyans.

Speaking during the same rally, the former Prime Minister urged the Nyeri residents to back the Azimio adding that he would continue from where President Uhuru left off in terms of development.

“Uhuru Kenyatta amejenga soko.
