Tuju went bare-knuckle on DP accusing him of all manner of things.

The Executive Director of the Azimio Coalition Raphael Tuju has maintained that Deputy President William Ruto was paid billions to support President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In an interview with Citizen TV Wednesday night,  Tuju went bare-knuckle on DP accusing him of all manner of things.

When asked about how much the DP was said, Tuju said: "For a man who refers to Sh7 billion as only, your guess is as good as mine but it is in billions".

The former Jubilee secretary general also stated that the DP came with a list of demands that included the appointment of cabinet secretaries among other things.

He said he demanded to be allocated specific cabinet positions which he claimed he leveraged to loot public resources.

When asked who paid the money, Tuju said Uhuru's friends who backed his bid went out of their way and sorted the DP.

Tuju stated that the amount was paid upfront as the DP said he will not support Uhuru unless he is handed the cash.

Tuju is an ardent critic of the DP and has recently warned Kenyans against supporting him.

He recently said the if the DP wins, he will be forced to vacate the country for fear of being victimised.
