Four presidential candidates were cleared to vie for the top seat in the August 9 polls.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chair Wafula Chebukati will announce the official presidential results today (Monday) 34pm.

A media invite sent to newsrooms indicated that the exercise will kick-off at the said time at the Bomas of Kenya.

Four presidential candidates were cleared to vie for the top seat in the August 9 polls.

They include Deputy President William Ruto, Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga, Roots party candidate George Wajackoyah and Agano's Waihiga Mwaure David.

Ruto and Raila are the leading presidential candidates according to provisional results released by the IEBC.

Verification of presidential results ended on Monday morning.

Presidential agents and their  team are set at the Bomas of Kenya ahead of the final results declaration.
