When you are sick in a room where you can’t leave until a doctor says so, you really reflect on your life a lot - Dr. Kibicho.

Interior PS Dr. Karanja Kibicho has opened up on his battle with Covid-19 after spending 15 days in a hospital bed.

Dr. Kibicho mentioned that he was always one of those people who wore a mask all the time but couldn't figure out where he got the virus from.

The PS said that anyone can get the virus and part of the things fuelling the virus in the country is that a significant chunk of the population is still in denial of Covid-19 existence.

“The truth is we are all human beings. We should not behave as if diseases are for Wanjiku. We are in a situation where a lot of people are in denial of the existence of the coronavirus and this is what is fuelling the spread," Dr. Kibicho stated.

He added, “When you are sick in a room where you can’t leave until a doctor says so, you really reflect on your life a lot."

The PS is arguably one of the most powerful people in President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration and travels a lot across the country on inspection tours of Government projects.
