Members of Parliament elected on Jubilee party tickets will lose their seats if they shift their political allegiance, party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni has warned.

The statement by Kioni comes at a time when some affiliate party members of the Azimio have switched camps to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by President-elect William Ruto.

Kioni made the warning after meeting party officials in Nakuru on Thursday.

Reports have emerged that some Jubilee members are also planning to join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance soon.

UDM party, an affiliate of Azimio, has already ditched the coalition for Ruto's Kenya Kwanza.

The party leader and Mandera senator-elect Ali Roba led his team in joining the coalition on Thursday.

He said they had been planning to ditch Azimio because they felt they were not being treated well.

He led two senators, including him, two governors and 7 MPs in joining Ruto's camp.

The DP has also been wooing Independent MPs to his camp and so far, according to him, 10 out 12 of them have pledged to work with him.

Azimio had beaten the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team in the numbers of MPs before the DP began wooing the independents.

Raila is planning to challenge IEBC decision to declare Ruto the President-elect at the Supreme Court of Kenya.
