Speculations have been rife since Friday that Kalonzo Musyoka would be joining Kenya Kwanza.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has broken his silence after reports that he was joining Kenya Kwanza led by President-elect Wiliam Ruto.

Speculations have been rife since Friday that the former Vice President would be joining Kenya Kwanza.

Addressing the reports on Sunday, August 21, Kalonzo dismissed the reports stating that Azimio was going to challenge Ruto's win at the Supreme Court.

"Those saying that I'm joining Kenya Kwanza are wishful thinkers, we are going to pursue them at the Supreme Copurt," he told reporters after attending a church service in Nairobi.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party led by Raila Odinga is set to challenge Ruto's win at the supreme court.

Odinga rejected the results immediately after IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati declared William Ruto the President-elect.

"Chebukati did not entertain any discussions of the results... we know what happened next. Our view in Azimio is clear; the figures announced by Chebukati are null and void and must be quashed by a court of law. He acted with gross impunity and total disregard," said Raila.

The electoral body's legal team will be led by former Attorney Justice Githu Muigai.
