The said meeting, Tuju alleges, happened on the day the Presidential results were announced on August 15.

Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Executive Director Raphael Tuju has revealed that the IEBC chair Wafula Chebuakti equally had  meeting with Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders.

This comes after Chebukati filed an affidavit in which he accused Tuju and a group of other Azimio leaders of coercing him to manipulate the results in favor of Raila Odinga.

The said meeting, Tuju alleges, happened on the day the Presidential results were announced on August 15.

Tuju revealed that as they were leaving a room where they met the IEBC officers, two UDA officialsled by UDA secretary general Veronica Maina and Kenya Kwanza head of presidential campaign Josephat Nanok entered the meeting room with Chebukati.

IEBC commissioner Abdi Guliye said the meeting happened at 3am while Tuju has clarified that the meeting was around 4 am.

"As we were meeting the IEBC official that morning, the IEBC official Guliye left the meeting for a washroom with a phone. He spent a long time there and after we were leaving after the meeting, we found Veronica and Nanok at the door step," he said.

According to Tuju, the two who were acting on behalf of the President-elect William Ruto met Chebukati the same venue they had met the IEBC boss and other commissioners.

Tuju now wants the IEBC boss to reveal details of his meeting with Kenya Kwanza leaders given that he has made allegations on their meeting.

Tuju also dismissed allegations that he wanted the results to be moderated in favour of Raila or a run-off forced.

Tuju said he met with Chebukati to discuss on reports he had received on swapping of form 34As.

This was after he established that Guliye was not in a position to address the issue and that is why he sought to meet Chebukati.

"The issue had brought up with him (Guliye) was that I had received intelligence from one of the IEBC officials, who complained that some form 34As were being brought down and they were being replaced by other form 34As," he said.

The Azimio director said the official did not know the exact location the swapping was happening.
