The Kapseret Member of Parliament has fired at the Azimio Executive Director over auctioning of Jubilee Party headquarters.

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has fired at former Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju over the auctioning of the building holding the party’s head office.

In a short video shared on his social media pages on Monday, Sudi alleged that Tuju is a burden, claiming that he has been vocal on election matters for nothing.

“Sasa naskia Jubilee yetu inauzwa na mnazunguka hapa na maneno mingi. Sijui unatuambia ulikuwa Bomas sijui saa tisa ama sijui ilikuwa saa kumi.

“What for? Wewe ni mzigo kubwa sana. Ile Jubilee tulikuwa tumejenga sasa inapigwa auction?” Sudi wondered.

The building hosting Jubilee offices is being auctioned by Garam Investments who have been instructed to sell the property together with the buildings and improvements erected therein.

The building has been hosting Jubilee’s head office since the party was formally formed, and it is located off the Thika Super Highway in Pangani, Nairobi.

Meanwhile, Sudi’s remarks came after Tuju claimed that IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati had also had a meeting with a section Kenya Kwanza leaders on the day the presidential results were announced.

Chebukati, in an affidavit, accused Tuju and a group of other Azimio leaders of coercing him to manipulate the results in favor of Raila Odinga.

However, the Azimio Executive Director said that as he left the room where they met the IEBC officers, two UDA officials entered the meeting room with Chebukati.

"As we were meeting the IEBC official that morning, the IEBC official Guliye left the meeting for a washroom with a phone. He spent a long time there and after we were leaving after the meeting, we found Veronica Maina and Josphat Nanok at the door step," Tuju said.
