Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Tuesday, September 6, met KANU Chairman Gideon Moi at his residence.

In an update via Twitter, Kalonzo stated that the former Baringo Senator paid him a courtesy call at his Nairobi residence. 

The Former Vice President disclosed that Moi recently underwent surgery after a fall during a campaign rally in Suswa. 

"This afternoon Senator Gideon Moi paid me a courtesy call at my Nairobi residence. I'm glad to see that he is recuperating well after a fall during a campaign rally in Suswa that required surgery. My family and I wish him well and a quick recovery," he stated.

Kalonzo Musyoka recently expressed interest in the National Assembly Speaker's post.

This was confirmed on Monday by the Parliament of Kenya in a social media post that listed the Wiper leader as among the Kenyans who have expressed interest in the seat.

Kalonzo is likely to be the Azimio La Umoja coalition candidate for the seat. Bungoma Senator-elect Moses Wetangula has also picked his forms for the post.
