Ruto was blocked on allegations that he lacked clearance from his boss.

Images seen by Nairobi Leo shows Aydin in the company of Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders at State House.

This is after the swearing ceremony had been concluded a luncheon had been staged at State House Nairobi for only invited guests.

During his arrest, Ruto defended Aydin as a reputable businessman whom he helped secure a Sh15 billion loan to set up a business in Uganda.

"Turkish investor, Aydin Harun, is a victim of top-down arrogance bred by patronage & cartels that criminalise enterprise. Importers' goods declared contraband, Africa spirits closed, keroche harassed, now investor with valid papers labelled terrorist. Tragedy of political pettiness," he tweeted then.

The saga elicited a massive political war of words with Ruto attacking the government for the arrest.

Aydin was later deported from the country.
